In this let's play Sunless Skies gameplay video for the early access version, we return to the game to see how the December 2017 Prospects & Bargains update affects the game.

We see how trading in ports has been simplified to mean that every smaller port now sells one important thing, and all major ports now buy anything. A system of prospects and bargains has been added to vary prices at different times.

To demonstrate we take on the first prospect, where we can buy cheap seeds at Port Avon and sell them for a huge profit at Magdelene's - but we also see how to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

We also see how the Prospects & Bargains update has added a new system of directions to help you find a quest-related port more easily, a revamped survival HUD and a new system of procedural generation (proc gen) so that the random maps you play on feel more logical and less empty.
